Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive scan of the eye's blood vessels could predict which patients with early schizophrenia would respond to an intravenous drug called sodium nitroprusside. The drug was given to help reduce symptoms of psychosis and improve thinking. The goal was to find a biomarker to better match patients with treatments.
