Stitch showdown: which scar closure looks best?
NCT ID NCT06448481
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests two different ways to close skin wounds after surgery: one stitch placed under the skin and one through the skin. About 73 adults having skin procedures on their head, neck, trunk, or limbs will have half their wound closed with each method. After three months, doctors and patients will rate the scars to see which method looks better and causes fewer problems.
