First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding scapular stabilization exercises to standard shoulder rehab helps people with subacromial impingement syndrome, a common cause of shoulder pain. Sixty adults were randomly assigned to either the special exercises or a conventional program. Researchers measured pain, shoulder function, and quality of life over 12 weeks to see if the new approach offered extra benefits.
