First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a numbing injection to the scalp before brain surgery (using a head clamp) can lower the amount of strong painkillers needed, keep blood pressure more stable, and reduce inflammation. 60 adults scheduled for brain surgery will take part. The goal is to improve recovery and reduce side effects from opioids.
