New study peers into heart vessels after SCAD

NCT ID NCT07178509

First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how well blood flows through tiny heart vessels in people who have had a spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD). Researchers will use a special ultrasound with contrast dye to measure blood flow and blood pressure changes during stress. The goal is to learn more about SCAD, not to test a treatment. About 50 adults with or without a history of SCAD will take part.
