First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a short course of targeted radiation (SBRT) along with chemotherapy and immunotherapy before surgery can help people with advanced mouth or throat cancer live longer without the cancer coming back. About 184 adults with untreated, advanced oral or HPV-negative throat cancer will take part. The goal is to see if this combination improves event-free survival at two years compared to standard treatment.
