New radiation method aims to reduce side effects in cervical cancer treatment

Summary

This study tests a newer, more precise type of radiation called SBRT for women with stage IIIC cervical cancer. The goal is to see if it can safely deliver high doses to cancer in the pelvic lymph nodes while causing fewer side effects than standard radiation. About 150 women will take part, and the main focus is on tracking any serious short-term side effects.
