First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study followed over 800 healthcare workers and non-healthcare workers for several years to understand how SARS-CoV-2 spreads and who gets sicker. Researchers collected swabs, blood, and saliva samples along with survey data. The goal was to identify risk factors for infection and severe disease, not to test a treatment.
