Summary
This study tested a supplement containing branched-chain amino acids and medium-chain triglyceride oil in 80 adults aged 50 and older with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). The goal was to see if the supplement could improve muscle mass, strength, and physical performance like walking speed and chair-stand time. The study is complete, and results will show whether this nutritional approach can help manage sarcopenia.
