First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study aims to better understand sarcopenia (muscle loss) in people with heart failure. Researchers will use special MRI scans to measure muscle properties in 70 participants—some with heart failure and sarcopenia, some without. No treatments or drugs are tested; the goal is to find imaging markers that could help diagnose or track the condition in the future.
