Summary
This study tested whether a combination of branched-chain amino acids and medium-chain triglyceride oil can help middle-aged and older adults with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). 80 participants took the supplement and researchers measured changes in muscle mass, grip strength, and walking speed. The goal was to see if this nutritional approach can slow or reverse muscle decline.
