Summary
This study aims to better understand muscle loss (sarcopenia) in people with heart failure using two special types of MRI scans. Researchers will scan 70 participants—some with heart failure and muscle loss, some with heart failure without muscle loss, and some healthy volunteers—to see if these scans can detect early signs of muscle deterioration. The goal is to find better ways to identify and eventually treat this common and serious condition.
