Scientists scan tumors to uncover hidden weakness
NCT ID NCT03418818
Summary
This study aims to understand how low oxygen levels inside sarcoma tumors affect treatment success. Researchers will use a special PET/MRI scan with an experimental tracer called FAZA to measure tumor oxygen in about 70 patients before they start treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve future sarcoma therapies, not to directly treat participants.
