Your smartwatch could soon detect sleep apnea

Summary

This study is testing whether a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch can reliably detect moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers will compare the watch's sleep tracking data against standard sleep lab measurements in 150 adults who either have or are likely to have sleep apnea. The goal is to see if this common wearable device could help identify people who need treatment.
