First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether certain patients can safely go home the same day after colon surgery instead of staying in the hospital. Researchers will track how many patients need to be readmitted within 30 days, along with other complications like infection or bleeding. The goal is to see if same-day discharge is a safe option for carefully selected adults aged 18-70.
