New ultrasound patch aims to soothe arthritic knees without drugs

Summary
This study tests a wearable device that delivers long-duration ultrasound to the knee to reduce pain and improve function in people with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. About 240 adults aged 65-85 with persistent knee pain will use the device at home for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this non-drug treatment can safely ease pain and help with daily activities.
