First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study aims to learn what causes aortic stenosis to get worse and how the heart changes after valve replacement. About 300 adults over age 50 with mild to severe aortic stenosis or a replacement valve will have heart scans every 6 to 12 months. Researchers will use special imaging to track scarring, calcium buildup, inflammation, and blood clots in the valve.
