Soccer stars breathe salt air to boost performance
NCT ID NCT07406386
Summary
This study tested whether adding salt therapy (halotherapy) to regular preseason training could help elite female soccer players breathe better and run longer. Twenty-eight players either did their normal training or added salt-air breathing sessions three times a week for 12 weeks. Researchers measured lung strength, breathing capacity, and running performance before and after to see if the salt therapy made a difference.
