Egg yolk powder takes on brain cancer in new trial

Summary
This early-phase trial is testing whether a special egg yolk powder called Salovum can reduce pressure and inflammation inside glioblastoma brain tumors. Ten adults with suspected glioblastoma will have probes placed during a biopsy to measure tumor pressure and fluid before and after taking Salovum. The goal is to see if this food-based treatment can help control the disease, not cure it.
