First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a probiotic lozenge containing a special strain of Streptococcus salivarius (SALI-10) can reduce gum inflammation and bad breath. Sixty adults with gingivitis will take the lozenge or a placebo twice daily for four weeks. The goal is to see if the probiotic helps control gum disease and improve oral health without the need for ongoing medication.
