Jaw position linked to Kids' sleep quality in new study
NCT ID NCT07161401
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether the way a child's jaw is aligned (called skeletal malocclusion) affects their sleep quality. Researchers studied 164 children aged 7 to 13 who had no other mouth or breathing problems. They measured sleep using a parent questionnaire and took X-rays to check jaw and airway measurements. The goal was to see if jaw position alone can impact how well children sleep.
