First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether the way a child's jaw is aligned (called sagittal skeletal malocclusion) affects their sleep quality. Researchers studied 164 children aged 7 to 13 who had no other mouth or breathing problems. They measured sleep quality using a parent questionnaire and compared children with different jaw types. The goal was to see if jaw position alone can influence how well children sleep.
