Summary
This study tests whether the experimental drug safusidenib can slow or stop the growth of a type of slow-growing brain tumor called grade 2 glioma that has a specific genetic change (IDH1 mutation). Participants have had surgery but no other treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. Half receive safusidenib pills twice daily, and half receive a placebo, to see if the drug delays tumor progression.
