New diabetes drug candidate enters first human safety tests

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new experimental medicine (NNC1679-0001) for type 2 diabetes. Researchers want to see if it is safe and how the body handles it. About 80 healthy adults and people with type 2 diabetes will receive a single injection of either the study drug or a placebo. The study is not yet recruiting.
