Summary
This study adapted a Canadian safety checklist for use in France to help caregivers assess accident risks for elderly people with dementia living at home. Researchers worked with 116 caregivers to test the checklist's reliability. The goal is to give community healthcare providers a simple tool to identify and reduce home hazards.
