Summary
This study tested whether a Medtronic pump and Codman catheter could safely deliver chemotherapy directly to the liver in 35 people with colorectal cancer or bile duct cancer that spread to the liver. The goal was to see if this device combination is a safe alternative to an older pump. Researchers measured liver side effects and how long patients lived or went without their cancer growing.
