Summary
This study looked at how safe and tolerable the HIV drug dolutegravir is for newborns whose mothers have HIV. Researchers gave the medicine to 48 infants during their first month of life and monitored them for 16 weeks. The goal was to find a safe dose that works well alongside standard HIV prevention. The study took place in Brazil, South Africa, Thailand, and the United States.
