Weekly pill could slow aging: new study seeks safe dose

Summary

This study tests two drugs, sirolimus and everolimus, given once a week to see if they can safely target the root causes of aging. Healthy adults aged 55 to 89 will take one of three doses for six weeks. The goal is to find a dose that is safe and could help people stay healthier longer.
