Tool aims to cut risky pill burden for arthritis patients
NCT ID NCT07278609
Summary
This study aims to see if providing doctors with a medication review tool and giving patients educational brochies can help safely reduce the number of potentially harmful or unnecessary medications taken by older adults with rheumatic diseases. It will involve about 100 participants aged 60 and over who take five or more daily medications. Researchers will track medication changes and quality of life over 14-18 months to see if this combined approach works better than usual care alone.
