New hope for hard-to-treat breast cancer brain tumors: drug combo enters trial

Summary

This study tests whether two drugs, sacituzumab tirumotecan and bevacizumab, can shrink or control brain tumors in people with triple-negative breast cancer that has spread to the brain. About 24 adults with this condition will receive the combination and be monitored for tumor response and side effects. The goal is to find a better treatment option for this aggressive cancer.
