Zapping cancer spots: could radiation buy more time on current meds?
NCT ID NCT06882499
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding precise radiation (SABR) to the current hormone therapy and CDK4/6 inhibitor can delay the need to change cancer drugs in people with ER-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer that has started to grow in a few spots. About 74 participants will either get SABR plus their current therapy or switch to a different standard therapy chosen by their doctor. The goal is to see which approach keeps the cancer under control longer.
