Summary
This study tests whether adding a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) to standard physical therapy can improve arm and hand function in people who have had a first ischemic stroke. Sixty-six adults aged 18 to 80 with moderate weakness on one side will receive either real or sham rTMS combined with motor rehabilitation. Researchers will measure changes in movement, balance, daily activities, and quality of life over six months.
