First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested a device called ALTMS-A that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the brain. The goal was to see if it could help people who had a stroke regain movement in their arm and hand. The study planned to include 60 adults who had a stroke within the past 90 days, but it was terminated early, so we have limited information on its effectiveness.
