First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can reduce nerve pain in people with spinal cord injury. About 63 adults with spinal cord injury and chronic neuropathic pain will receive either real rTMS or a placebo, added to their usual rehabilitation. Researchers will measure changes in pain, depression, sleep, and quality of life over two months.
