Brain zaps for COVID brain fog? UCLA tests new treatment
NCT ID NCT06586398
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS is safe and tolerable for people with Long COVID. Twenty participants with Long COVID, primarily suffering from fatigue and brain fog, will receive either real or sham (fake) stimulation to see if it helps their symptoms. The goal is to gather initial data to see if this approach is worth testing in larger future trials.
