Summary
This study tested a non-invasive treatment called rTMS (repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation) for chronic belly pain in 42 adults with irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D). Researchers used brain scans to find overactive pain areas and then applied magnetic pulses to calm them. The goal was to reduce pain and improve daily life without drugs.
