First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique (rTMS) can reduce chronic nerve pain caused by cancer or its treatment. Sixty adults with moderate to severe pain will receive both real and placebo stimulation in a random order, with an 8-week break in between. The goal is to measure pain relief and see if this approach can improve quality of life for patients who haven't found relief from standard treatments.
