NCT ID NCT05443607

First seen May 25, 2026 ยท Last updated May 25, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can pass from a pregnant woman to her unborn baby. Researchers will test blood from mothers and umbilical cords to check for RSV and other viruses. They will also follow the babies for up to 4 years to see if they develop breathing problems like wheezing or asthma. The goal is to better understand how RSV spreads during pregnancy and its long-term effects on children.
