First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compares two anesthesia techniques for children under 14 who need emergency surgery and have a full stomach. One method uses no breathing help during intubation, while the other uses gentle air pressure to prevent low oxygen levels. The goal is to see which approach causes fewer breathing and heart problems. About 100 children will take part.
