Could a kidney drug also help a failing heart?

NCT ID NCT07268807

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see if a drug called roxadustat, used to treat anemia in kidney disease, might also help people who have heart failure. Researchers will check if patients who took the drug for over a year had fewer major heart problems or improvements in heart function. The goal is to find new ways to manage this complex group of patients.
