This study looked for the best amount of a numbing drug (ropivacaine) to use for foot surgery in people with diabetes. 45 adults having diabetic foot surgery received an ultrasound-guided nerve block. The goal was to find the dose that works for 90% of patients, balancing good pain relief with safety.
