This study looks at whether placing a calcium hydroxide paste inside a tooth between root canal appointments helps infected teeth heal better. About 110 adults with painful tooth infections will receive standard root canal treatment over multiple visits. One group gets the extra paste, the other does not. Researchers will check pain and X-ray healing for up to 2 years.
