Toothache after root canal? study tests which filling material hurts less

NCT ID NCT07339579

Summary

This study tested three different materials used to seal root canals to see if one causes less pain after the procedure and leads to better healing of the bone around the tooth root. 72 adults with a tooth infection received a standard root canal treatment and were randomly assigned one of the sealers. Researchers measured their pain levels for 3 days and checked bone healing on X-rays after 6 months.
