NCT ID NCT07526844
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether different root canal tools and filling materials can reduce pain after the procedure. 144 adults with a tooth infection called irreversible pulpitis will get root canal treatment using one of two file systems (TruNatomy or ProTaper Gold) and one of two sealers (AH Plus or TotalFill BC). They will rate their pain at several times over a week and note if they need painkillers. The goal is to find the combination that causes the least discomfort.
