New device may ease root canal pain

Summary
This study tested two methods for cleaning a root canal to find out which one leads to less pain after the procedure. 108 adults with tooth pain (irreversible pulpitis) took part. One group used a standard needle for irrigation, the other used a special ultrasonic device (Endo1). The goal was to see if the newer device reduces post-treatment discomfort.
