Could a drug combo rebuild bones faster in osteoporosis?

NCT ID NCT07283887

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two osteoporosis drugs (romosozumab and denosumab) works better than either drug alone for postmenopausal women with weak bones. 90 women will receive one of three treatments for 6 months, and researchers will measure changes in bone density and use AI to find better ways to personalize care. Osteoporosis is a lifelong condition, so this is about better controlling the disease, not curing it.
