New drug trial targets specific genetic flaws in Tough-to-Treat cancers
NCT ID NCT04595747
Summary
This study is testing an oral drug called rogaratinib for adults with advanced sarcoma or a rare stomach tumor called SDH-deficient GIST. The drug aims to block specific proteins that help these cancer cells grow, with the goal of shrinking tumors and controlling the disease. It is for patients whose cancer has a specific genetic change or who have the rare GIST type and have already tried standard treatments.
