Could allergy and lung drugs tame rheumatoid arthritis?
NCT ID NCT07566351
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding roflumilast (a lung drug) or desloratadine (an allergy drug) to standard rheumatoid arthritis treatment can better control the disease. About 90 adults with active arthritis will take one of these medicines or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure joint swelling, pain, and blood markers to see if these add-on options help reduce inflammation.
