Robotic surgery aims to ease recovery after breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07236359

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer robotic surgery technique leads to better recovery and satisfaction compared to the standard surgery for women having a nipple-sparing mastectomy with implant reconstruction. It will follow 108 women for a year, measuring their well-being, body image, and surgical results. The goal is to see if the robotic approach, which uses a smaller hidden incision, offers real benefits in quality of life and recovery time.
