Robots learn to teach: custom brain training for nerve recovery

NCT ID NCT04759976

Summary

This study tested new robot-assisted training methods to help people with stroke or other neurological conditions regain arm movement. Researchers worked with 259 adults, including healthy volunteers and patients, to see if adjusting the robot's feedback based on a person's specific abilities improved learning. The goal was to make rehabilitation robots more effective by personalizing the training experience.
