Robot surgeons test Glue-Free knee replacements

NCT ID NCT06929871

Summary

This study is comparing two methods for attaching a robotic-assisted knee replacement implant: using surgical bone cement versus a cementless design that allows bone to grow into the implant. It aims to find out which method leads to a more natural-feeling, longer-lasting knee for people with severe arthritis. The trial will follow 120 patients for up to five years, measuring how well they forget about their artificial joint and how stable the implant remains.
